Ideas Thread

This is a thread for ideas. Any team member, regardless of fire team, is free to post in here with ideas to make Dead Frontier and our clan more innovative. This is an open discussion thread as we will focus on generating ideas, maybe have a monthly meeting to vote on them, and we'll see which ideas start to materialize.

You could put in a trading post for the forum. Maybe you could also put in a part for roll call. I love this emoticon.

There isn't much trading going on within the clan. So just use the DF section and create a thread or use an existing related thread.

I will make a dedicated section only when there is an influx of trading activities.

Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we just remove the level requirement for the ranks in the clan? At least everyone would start off from the lowest rank. Level doesn't matter anyways, it's the dedication to the clan that counts and the overall skill in DF. What do you guys think?

I think we should Have a New thread to loot like a loot thread where members show there loot on the page

Maybe make a lot of missions and I mean a lot that present a challenge but can be completed by maybe a specific build

Well Jayleau and myself have a competition going right now with specific character class and lvl restriction with a minimum of four proficiencies......SOOO lets make it a clan challange if any other games or challanges like this feel free to add ideas.....the more we can get involved the more mayhem that will ensue!
Here's the challenge.
1. Create a level 36 police officer.
2. Must have at least 4 proficiencies past 25.
3. The stat points are up to you.
4. The character cannot be a GM.
5. Once the characters have been created you will take only 4 weapons which have to be from each proficiency.....TB's not allowed..rebellion also not allowed..a 20k safe box....1-2 extra Armour's....that will be it.
(For competition purposes Names do not have to be revealed until said date.)


The Challenge:
This will fall into a few categories
Survivor - Who lasts the longest without having to go back.
We will be starting off in orange for the first 2 hours unless a unanimous vote is reached to move to red early after 2 hours in red we go to EZ. voting continues through each area. after ez is reached whomever is left will stay out until A) The last person standing or B) all remaining players agree to take a break and continue another day.
Boss Kills - In order for these to count must be as a group of no less than 2. Screens will be required
Scavenger - Who looted the most money.
Who Looted the most in market value
Who had the most exp
Character Background - Brief background not a freaking novel lol.....will be voted on by people not involved in the challenge.
Wackiest weapon arrangement - This is also voted on

Points
Survivor
1st Place 10 points
2nd place 8 points
3rd place 5 points
4th place 3 points
5th and below is 2 points
Boss Kills
Same as Survivor
Need to be in or have the most screens
All the rest
1st place 5 points
2nd place 4 points
3rd place 3 points
4th place 2 points
every one else 1 point.

So even if you don't win the major events u can still win through the minor events. Just depends on how every one else places.

Prizes to be determined (might be stuff out of my own vault don't know yet)

If you never try you will never know what you can accomplish. The competition is still not for 2 weeks....plenty of time to get help on what weaps you want and what you can do for stats there are multiple options here......here's some examples

Survival Build....focused solely on survival not exp gaining,,,,even though you can exp grind with this....just depends on what weapons you want. For Beginners to Expert.





This is a Balanced build. For exp grinding with better ease at the cost of a little of survival. For Beginners to Expert





This is an offensive build...focusing more on offense rather defense. Your offense is your defense. For Intermediates to Expert.




Another Offensive build. For Experts.





This is a cheap crit build with survival. For Experts.






One of these is the build I'm using. Not gonna say which though cuz that will ruin the surprise. Builds regarding stats I will help with....proficiencies....well that's going to have to be based of your knowledge....I can help bounce ideas back and forth but I wont give you the build. Some things you have to learn on your own....of course with help it expedites that process

Guys I wont be able to make it, my internet has been on the fritz, apparently there is some dodgy wiring in the house, and they are having to send someone over to fix it but it is taking them age, so i havent been able to get to the correct level.
Also my rank is just a recruit

Any missions completed?

I think it would add uniqueness to this clan if we do a recording when a fireteam went on a mission.

We could add narration and intro for the clan so viewers get some sort of story behind the mission.

This could boost publicity of the clan and perhaps attract some new recruits who wanted to be in the video.

We require a recording software, and a video editing software. Oh, we also require a group of members to do the mission with the camera man.

I can do the editing but since I am lacking time, I think it would be best to get someone else to do it.

We need to see who's interested in partaking this project. =D

Something like this vid would be nice for starters. Been watching this channel for a while now and got some of my mission inspiration from it.
